Your ticket checks stay on your computer.

World Cup Seller Champion helps buyers and sellers read ticket prices. Your checks stay on your computer unless you turn on anonymous sharing.

Effective date June 14, 2026

What the extension does

World Cup Seller Champion is a Chrome extension for World Cup ticket buyers and sellers. It shows tickets for sale, prices, fees, seat groups, and price changes on supported ticket pages.

By default, data stays local in your browser. If you turn on anonymous sharing, market scan data is sent to our backend to build shared price insights.

Information it handles

When you use the extension, it may handle:

  • Ticket details visible on the page, such as match, category, section, row, seat, price, and status.
  • Fee estimates, such as buyer price after fees and what the seller may get.
  • Price checks and times, so the tool can show new tickets, changed prices, and tickets that are gone.
  • Seat details you type in, such as section, row, seat number, ticket cost, and target price.
  • The active ticket page URL, so the tool knows which game you are checking.
  • A random anonymous ID if you turn on market sharing. This ID is not your name, email, or account.
  • A hashed 24-hour access code if a shared scan earns access to the seller insights portal.
  • Website visit information through Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics on this website.

We do not ask for, upload, or store personally identifiable information in shared scan data. Shared scans do not include your name, email, phone number, account login, payment details, IP address, exact browser identity, purchase cost, target price, or seats you type as your own.

How it uses information

The extension uses this information to show:

  • Cheaper tickets and ticket groups.
  • Buyer price, list price, and seller price after fees.
  • Similar seats for buyers and sellers to compare.
  • Profit and profit percent when a seller enters their ticket cost.
  • Shared market signals, such as supply, new tickets, changed prices, and tickets that are gone.
  • CSV or JSON files when you choose to download your data.
  • Basic website traffic reports, if you accept Google Analytics.

Where data is stored

Price checks, saved games, and seats you enter are stored in Chrome local extension storage on your device. This lets the extension remember older games and show what changed.

If you turn on anonymous sharing, the extension sends market scan data to our backend at wc26champion.com. We store the scan time, game, venue, category, section, row, seat, listed price, estimated buyer price, estimated seller payout, and scan quality.

Our application database does not store IP addresses or other direct personal identifiers for shared scans. The shared scan payload contains public ticket listing data plus a random anonymous ID, so we can count contributors without knowing who they are.

If the scan earns a seller insights pass, we store a hashed version of the pass code, issue time, expiration time, anonymous visitor ID, scan ID, game ID, and shared seat count. We do not store the plain pass code.

Data sharing

Anonymous market sharing is optional. It is off by default. You can turn it on or off in the extension.

When sharing is on, we do not upload your name, email, phone number, FIFA account, Google account, payment details, IP address, purchase cost, target price, or seats you type as your own. We upload only public market listings that the ticket page shows during a scan.

We use shared scans to show seller-friendly market signals, such as supply, price changes, new tickets, and tickets that are no longer listed. A ticket that is gone may have sold, or the seller may have removed it.

The seller insights portal shows aggregated market data from shared scans. It does not show your typed purchase cost, target price, account details, or payment details.

This public website uses Google Analytics only after you accept the privacy notice. Google Analytics may receive visit information such as pages viewed, browser/device details, approximate location, and referrer. We use it to understand traffic and improve the site. Google Analytics is separate from extension scan sharing. Do not enter ticket or personal information into the website analytics flow.

Remote code

The Chrome extension does not load or run remote JavaScript. Extension code, HTML, CSS, and images are packaged with the extension.

Downloads

CSV and JSON files are created only when you click download. You decide where those files go and how to use them.

Children

World Cup Seller Champion is not meant for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Independent tool

World Cup Seller Champion is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, the FIFA World Cup, or any official ticketing platform.
